What is Jennie's Amazing Kids?

 
Jennie's Amazing Kids is a private consulting business for families and educational facilities working with students on the autism spectrum.  Jennie provides inservices, social skills groups, and consultations in Kansas and the Midwest.
 
Individuals on the autism spectrum are guaranteed opportunities to grow, succeed, and integrate into a school setting most appropriate for them through the 2004 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
 
 
Who is Jennie? 
Jennie is completing her Ph.D. in special education through the University of Kansas.  Her area of emphasis is autism spectrum disorders.  She will complete her doctoral program in December 2009.
 
Jennie works with autism spectrum leaders across the nation and over the last 2 years has been studying under Dr. Rich Simpson at the Univerisity of Kansas Professional Development in Autism (PDA) Center. The PDA Center provided staff development for school districts as well as centers specializing in students with disabilities.  Jennie also brings extensive, hands-on, classroom experience in early childhood education and development.
